To use

Using a traditional safety razor requires a bit of practice and patience to master, but once you have the hang of it, it can provide a close and comfortable shave. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  1. Prepare: Before you start your shave, make sure you have a clean and sharp safety razor blade. Wet skin with warm water, then apply a thin layer of shaving cream or gel.
  2. Angle the razor: When you start your shave, hold the razor at a 30-degree angle against the skin This angle should be maintained throughout the entire shave.
  3. Shave with the grain: Start by shaving with the grain of the hair. This will help prevent irritation and reduce the risk of cuts.
  4. Pull skin taut: As you shave, gently pull the skin taut with your free hand to create a smooth surface for the razor to glide over.
  5. Use short strokes: Use short, gentle strokes with the razor so you don’t apply too much pressure.  Pressure will lead to nicks and cus.
  6. Rinse: After you’ve completed your shave, rinse with cold water to close the pores and reduce irritation.
  7. Moisturize: Apply a moisturizing lotion or aftershave balm to your skin to keep it hydrated and healthy.

With some practice and patience, you can easily master the art of shaving with a traditional safety razor and save money on plastic disposables.

To install the blade, twist the handle counterclockwise to open, place blade, insert handle back into the head and twist the bottom clockwise to reassemble.

Use blades with care and dispose of with caution.
