Terms & Conditions – Build-a-Soap and Bulk Soap Loaves

Thank you for choosing our custom soap services.  In addition to our standard Terms and Conditions, our Build-a-Soap and bulk loaves include the following extra terms and conditions. Please read the following carefully before placing your order. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Production & Curing Time

All Build-a-Soap and bulk loaf orders are made to order. These soaps require 4–5 weeks to complete, including the curing process. Once the soaps have fully cured, they will be shipped to you.  We will keep you updated at each step of the process.

Shipping & Combined Orders

If your order includes other products alongside a custom soap loaf:

  • You may choose to wait until your soap is cured, and we will ship all items together.
  • If you would prefer to receive the other items sooner, additional postage will be required to split the shipment.

Please note:

  • If free shipping is applied to your order, it only applies to one of the shipments.  This may be reconsidered if the total order is double that of the Free Shipping threshold.

Payment & Cancellations

  • Full prepayment is required at the time of ordering.
  • Once we commence production, no changes or cancellations can be made to the order.
  • No refunds will be provided for change of mind.

Design & Scent Variations

Due to the handmade nature of soap making:

  • We do our best to follow your selected colours, designs, and fragrance choices, but variations may occur.
  • Swirls, layers, and other design elements may develop differently in each loaf.
  • Colour and scent, particularly those derived from natural sources, may fade over time.

We do not offer refunds or replacements unless we have not followed your specified design brief (e.g., using the wrong colours or design type).

Presentation & Packaging

  • All soaps are presented in their natural state, with edges beveled for comfort.
  • We do not stamp our logo on the bars.  This allows other small businesses to brand for business use.
  • Soaps come unwrapped and unlabeled, but a full ingredient list is provided for each order.

Soap Weight

Each bar has a minimum starting weight of 130g, which may increase depending on additives and chosen ingredients. Slight weight variation may occur due to curing.  You will receive either 9 or 18 bars of soap per your order.

Personal or Business Use

These soaps are suitable for personal or business use. Whether you're purchasing for yourself, as gifts, or for resale under your own brand, we are happy to offer this flexible option. All soaps are provided unbranded and unlabeled, making them ideal for private label use. If you intend to resell the soaps, it is your responsibility to ensure that your product labeling and packaging comply with any applicable regulations in your area.
